Starhill Gallery Fashion Week SS17

The fashion season is in full swing in Kuala Lumpur and joining in the party is Starhill Gallery, which hosted its 2017 Spring/Summer iteration of the Starhill Gallery Fashion Week from 12 – 15 April 2017.

During the event, the latest trends of 2017’s Spring/Summer collections were unveiled by exclusive designer labels housed in Starhill Gallery, including Valentino, Kenzo, McQ Alexander McQueen, M Missoni, Debenhams, Mita Tam Style Studio and iKarrtini. Many familiar faces walked the runway as well, namely AsNTM alum Shikin Gomez, Amazing Race Asia star Chloe Chen and Brazilian supermodel Fernando Skinner.

This year’s runway was further elevated with a special Malaysian debut fashion show by Australian label ae’lkemi by the award-winning fashion designer, Alvin Fernandez on the night of the launching. On Day 3, three renowned Malaysia designers; Celest Thoi, Nurita Harith and Syomir Izwa Sen-Gupta presented their latest collections, while British retailer Debenhams took centre stage on Day 4.

The four-day glitzy fashion event provided invited guests the exclusive opportunity of viewing the latest collections from both international and local designer labels here in Kuala Lumpur, truly upholding Starhill Gallery’s status as Malaysia’s luxury shopping destination.
