Kuala Lumpur’s iconoclastic shopping mall presents a bold, mouth-watering festival of gastronomical proportions for the month of October.
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s premier shopping destination and a treasure trove of culinary delights, proudly presents Journey of Taste, a mouth-watering food and drink festival to showcase the best local and international cuisine in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. From now until 30 October 2018, Journey of Taste invites shoppers to embark on a delectable food journey with special dining menus, chef appearances, pop-ups and tantalising promotions across more than 10,000 delightful dining and food choices at over 150 outlets.
Journey of Taste also kicks off in conjunction with Visit Pavilion 2018, the campaign launched to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. “With over 150 F&B outlets, dedicated gourmet hall, spacious restaurants with private rooms and a VIP Dining concierge, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur offers experiential dining options for all occasions and across all age groups. As the defining authority in dining, Journey of Taste is a full sensory journey of taste around the world,” says Kung Suan Ai, Pavilion KL’s Director of Marketing.
In order to make this journey even more exciting, the mall has lined up a series of events, promotions, pop-ups and food demonstrations for all. Some of the highlights of Journey of Taste include the Louis XIII showcase of its Le Mathusalem decanter to celebrate the maison’s 100-year anniversary. Happening at Level 3 of Couture Pavilion, the largest decanter to date is made from baccarat by over 20 skilled craftsmen, making it a must-see.
Other events to look forward include Fiesta de España launch, Yoga & Pilates Active Living Day with Lorna Jane, and the Ice Dream Festival where ice-cream and desserts from around the world are celebrated.
Maybank cardholders may redeem an easy-vent Pyrex food container by spending a minimum of RM150 on a Maybank credit card, or RM250 for non-Maybank cardholders.
