Glenmorangie Signet is the pinnacle of their permanent range of expressions, the summation of everything meant by the Glenmorangie ethos, Unnecessarily Well Made, a philosophy best understood when Signet’s complex make-up is explained. For just one week each year, the stills at Glenmorangie Distillery are dedicated to the creation of spirit for a ground-breaking whisky: Glenmorangie Signet. This pioneering single malt is solely produced during this time, which is known as the Glenmorangie Signet Week, a unique and highly-anticipated occasion in the whisky industry.
Glenmorangie Signet is a unique fusion of scarce and exceptional elements, making it one of Glenmorangie’s rarest, most complex and prestigious malt whiskies available. At its core is whisky from high-roasted ‘chocolate’ malted barley, umble-roasted –just like coffee beans -in tiny quantities each year, which imparts a distinctive mocha background. Whisky made from Glenmorangie’s own Cadboll barley, an exceptionally rare single-estate crop, is included, bringing Glenmorangie’s celebrated creaminess to the spirit. The pioneering single malt whisky has won numerous awards such as the International Spirits Challenge 2017 (ISC), International Whisky Competition 2016 (IWC) and The Scotch Whisky Master 2016.
