Art sanctuary Ken Gallery makes waves in TTDI and beyond.
For many years, KEN Holdings Berhad has been known as an esteemed property development company, starting off as a specialist contractor offering engineering services. Besides building the modernistic Menara KEN TTDI, the company believes in the management of sustainable resources and creation of value to ensure and maintain the quality of their services.
But the conventional corporation is more than meets the eye. Dato’ Kenny Tan, KEN’s Group Executive Chairman, understood that the heart of KEN was deeply rooted in building up the nation, and strived to elevate art and culture in Malaysian society. With that understanding, he decided to incorporate those beliefs in the launch of the KEN Gallery, setting more than 100 pieces of art pieces on display.

There are much to expect from the exhibitions that lay in wait in the halls of the KEN Gallery. Divided into four halls, every hall comprises of different types of artworks that would appeal to diverse tastes.
The first hall, Main Hall houses the Kenny Tan Collection, with the first exhibition being the artworks of Malaysian artists entitled Malaysian Artists Volume 1. The hall also contains the Trail with a display of exquisite fine porcelain antiques and the Oriental section, where its setup is arranged to resemble a Chinese living room with wooden antiquated furniture and walls of brushed paintings.

In Hall 1, Duxi, a renowned artist from China, releases his solo exhibition with fantastical works of art that will take your imagination on a mind-blowing ride. As for Hall 2 and 3, the works of an acclaimed Malaysian artist, Teh Yew Kiang, will be on show for her first solo exhibition throughout the month of July.

While the artworks in Halls 1, 2 and 3 are only for the month of July, the Kenny Tan collection will be a mainstay at the gallery’s location on Level M, Menara Ken TTDI. Be prepared to be immersed in a world of beautifully crafted artworks.
