Antara Residence organised a successful Art Competition and Buka Puasa event last weekend.
Last Saturday, Antara Residence in collaboration with Sireh Pinang Art Colony organised an Art Competition and Berbuka Puasa Event 2018. The event took place at Antara Residence Sales Gallery in Putrajaya. With the objective of promoting Putrajaya and its picturesque landscape as a model of a sustainable and livable city of the 21st century, ‘The Wonders of Putrajaya’ has been chosen as the theme for the competition. On top of that, the competition also aimed to create awareness and appreciation for the art among the children.



Present during the launching ceremony were the Founder of Sireh Pinang Art Colony, En. Zubair Afandi Omar and the Head of Property Development at Nadi Cergas Development Sdn. Bhd. Ir. Hj. Zulkifli Abdul. The event commenced at 4 o’clock with the welcome speeches given by En Zubair and Ir. Hj. Zulkifli.


At the event, over 70 participants aged between 7 to 16 years old turned out for the Art Competition with 50 of them were from Rumah Kasih Sayang, Rumah Kasih Harmoni, and SOLS Academy. There were also walk-in participants coming from both nearby neighbourhood and the one from afar.
The Art Competition was divided into two categories; open and the special needs children, with cash prizes worth up to RM300 to be won for each category. The competition started at 4.30 p.m. and ended at 6.30 p.m.



While waiting for break fast and Maghrib prayer, distinguished guests, parents, and participants gathered for special performances from Rumah Kasih Sayang and SOLS Academy.



The prize-giving ceremony commenced at 8.15 p.m. after the Maghrib prayer.
